About the Harrisburg Postal Picnic Grounds:
There is a kitchen centrally located between 2 large pavilions. The pavilions are very spacious and can easily accommodate up to 300+ people.

A barbecue pit is available however we do not currently plan to utilize the pit (main dishes catered).

There are restrooms adjacent to the pavilions with separate facilities for men and women.

There are horseshoe pits, a softball field and a volleyball court for use at the picnic grounds. A few families have already indicated they would bring a few of their favorite lawn games - all families are free to do so.

The main dish will include grilled chicken breast and pulled pork. Additional options might be added if there is a demand for other cooked meats. Pizzas will also be offered.

RSVP HERE by Tuesday, May 11 at 8:00 p.m.

There is no charge for any athlete that attends this event. A nominal fee will be collected to offset the costs for guests (non athletes) on the day of the picnic.

7:00-9:00 Games/Socialize

Families are welcome to bring any item for their personal comfort and enjoyment (fold out chairs, their own water bottles, etc)

Thank you to all families that provided feedback in advance of this event. It was challenging to find a date and location that complies with the continuing indoor covid-19 restrictions and also does not conflict with the myriad spring sport and graduation activities planned over the next several weeks. We look forward to seeing everyone on the 16th of May!!
