Notes from the meet director:

Please note: (update January 6 at 3:00 p.m.) Loyola University has changed some policies on campus that will impact the meet.

This year’s National Catholic Swimming and Diving meet will need to follow some protocols based on Baltimore City and Loyola University Policies.

(1) The meet host updated it's policy in regard to anyone attending the meet and entering Loyola facilities. All officials, coaches and athletes will either have to be fully vaccinated OR provide a negative test result within 72 hours of the meet. Loyola will provide an attestation form for the coaches to sign off on that the members listed on the form are in compliance with the protocol.

(2) In an effort to reduce the numbers in the pool area and allow for more distancing we will not have any spectators for the meet. We will be live streaming the meet. A link will be published shortly.

(3) There will be assigned seating for teams using both the pool deck and the spectator gallery for team seating.

(4) Mask must be worn by athletes when they are not competing. Coaches should have a mask on at all times.

(5) Do not bring anyone to the pool that is not feeling well, has fever or has recently tested positive for COVID-19. Please be smart about this.

Please be sure to let your team knows and plan accordingly.

Qualifying for the Meet:

If a swimmer makes one time standard, he or she may swim in one other individual event in which he or she does not have the standard (this is the rule for swimmers not entered in a qualifying relay).

A swimmer that is entered as part of a relay that qualifies may also compete in two individual events without the time standard.

Non-scoring B relays may be entered for any team that has entered an A relay. These B relays do not have to achieve the time standard to be included. Swimmers on the B relay may also swim in two individual events without the time standard. Exhibition relays cannot advance to the Final or Consolation heat unless these heats are not filled with A relays. Swimmers that compete on B relays may advance to A relays.

Coaches must submit team entries by Sunday, January 9, 2022
