The 2017 MPC Swim Coaches meeting will be held on October 23 at 6:30pm in the HS Cafeteria at Cumberland Valley HS.
The PIAA Rules Interpretation Meeting will follow at 7:00pm.
Students who have not yet completed a physical (for the fall season) and handed in the corresponding paperwork should complete a physical exam on Monday, November 6 at Bishop McDevitt High School. Girls appointmenst will begin at 9:00 a.m. and boys will follow. Paperwork will be posted on the Bishop McDevitt High School web site.
An exciting new twist is planned for the local winter sports media day by putting on a “Super Media Day” in early November at Cumberland Valley High School. This “Super Media Day” will feature Mid-Penn athletes in boys and girls basketball, swimming and wrestling.
Each sport’s day will take place at the same time. The date is set for November 6 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at Cumberland Valley High School.
Bishop McDevitt's annual fall open house is Sunday, November 12 from 2:15-4:15 p.m. at the Bishop McDevitt High School. Athletics will be featured from 3:30-4:15 in the high school gymnasium. One or two team members will be invited to assist during this event.
First non-mandatory practice - Monday, November 13. All practices will be held from 3:30-5:45 p.m. at the Central Penn Fitness Center.
First Official Practice (per PIAA Guidelines): Friday, November 17. All practices will be held from 3:30-5:45 p.m at the Central Penn Fitness Center.
The Lauver family would like to invite all swimmers to a pre-season pizza party this Friday, November 17 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at their home.
