Gettysburg High School is new to the Mid Penn Conference this school year. This will be Bishop McDevitt's first meeting with Gettysburg in swimming and diving.
The location of this meet is the John F. Jaeger Center for Athletics, just west of the Bream Wright Hauser Athletic Complex at Gettysburg College. Gettysburg High School does not have a pool on their campus.

The high school is under construction – please use the back parking lot when you arrive. There is an entrance marked. Walk down the hallway and turn right – walk down that hallway to the natatorium.
The meet is scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m. with a 2:30 p.m. bus departure from McDevitt High School.
Diving will NOT be part of this meet.
Mechanicsburg charges an admission fee for swim meets. Adults are $5.00, seniors $3.00, and students and volunteers are free.
All swimmers should plan on being present for the school’s official team photo on Wednesday, January 25 at 3:30 at Central Penn Fitness Center. Please make arrangements to be in attendance on January 25. Team and individual photos will be taken. Full team warm-ups will be worn for the photos.

The coaches will announce the recognition ceremony; however, seniors will have the option of having a teammate speak about their memories and future plans based on the team's senior questionnaire.
Parents are welcome to be on deck during the recognition period. Bishop McDevitt seniors will be recognized at the beginning of the meet (tentative schedule).

Senior Recognition Night
Senior swimmers from Bishop McDevitt will be recognized during this meet.

The meet is scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m. with a 2:30 p.m. bus departure from McDevitt High School.
Diving will be a part of this meet and be run as the FIRST event.
CV will use even lanes and Bishop McDevitt Odd lanes. Lane 1 and 8 will be “non scoring” lanes.
Schedule
Bishop McDevitt warm-up: 3:55-4:20 p.m.
McD will have 6 lap lanes for swimmers and 2 lanes for divers plus the 5 lane warm up pool for warm up.
Meet begins: 4:30 p.m.
There will be an informal pasta dinner for all Bishop McDevitt swimmers on Wednesday, February 8 (immediately after practice) at 6:00 p.m. at the Central Penn Fitness Center. Pasta, salad, bread and drinks will be provided. This is another annual tradition for swimmers to spend time together away from the pool prior to competing at the Mid Penn Championship and Mid Penn Plunge Meets.
