The meet is scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m. with a 2:30 p.m. bus departure from McD.
Diving will be a part of this meet.
Parents may sign-up to provide drink/snack donations HERE. No volunteers are needed for this meet. The CV Swim/Dive Booster Club will provide timers for all 8 lanes.
This meet with Trinity and CV will be run as a “Tri Meet”. There will be two heats of each event and each team will be permitted to enter four swimmers per event, PLUS one exhibition (non scoring) swimmer per event. Heat 1 will be the fastest heat, followed by Heat 2. Eight place scoring will be used in accordance with National Federation rules.
The Diving portion of the meet will occur after the 50 freestyle. There will be a 10 minute warmup for divers prior to the start of the diving competition. After diving concludes, there will be a 10 minute warm-up for swimmers prior to resuming the meet with the 100 butterfly
CV will warm-up 3:15-3:40pm
Trinity warm-up: 3:40-4:05
Bishop McDevitt warm-up: 4:05-4:30pm
Lane assignments:
Bishop McDevitt 3/6 and Heat 2 lane 8 as “non scoring”
Trinity 4/7 and Heat 2 lane 1 as “non scoring”
CV 2/5 and Heat 1 lane 8 as “non scoring”
Heat 1 Lane 1 will be open and filled as needed.

There will not be a concession stand at this meet. There is an admission charge for parents charged by the Cumberland Valley School District.
** Post-Meet Informal Team Social **
At the conclusion of the Trinity-Cumberland Valley-Bishop McDevitt Tri Meet, there will be an informal social gathering at DaVinci's Italian Eatery with some members of the CV and Trinity swim & dive teams.

DaVinci's will section off a semi private area for a post meet social.
They will offer all swimmers and parents a deal of $8 per person for 2-3 slices of pizza and a drink.
If you are interested in attending, please sign-up on this online sign-up list HERE. If you prefer something other than the special, you may order from the menu. We will need an approximate number by Wednesday afternoon so please sign-up before the conclusion of practice on Wednesday, January 10.
Per the request of restaurant management, payment should be made as a group so Janeen Lauver will collect money either during our meet with CV and Trinity or at the door when our group arrives at DaVinci’s.
