Bishop McDevitt Swimming & Diving will honor all swimmers and divers at an end of season dinner on Wednesday, March 18 from 6:00-8:30 p.m. at the Colonial Country Club.

There is no cost for athletes to attend. Additional details (cost for parents/siblings and what members will need to do to reserve a spot at the dinner) will be provided soon.

2026 Morning Practices

Morning practices are not mandatory but encouraged for our athletes that have a reasonable chance of qualifying for the District 3 Championship meet. Morning practices will NOT serve as substitute practice for our evening sessions. If any swimmer or parent has a question whether an athlete should be prepared to attend these sessions, please speak with a coach.

Pre Season Swim Practices

Swimmers and parents:

Please read the following information if you are interested in optional pre-season swim practices during the months of September, October, and November at the Central Penn Fitness Center.

Since swimmers will need a membership to Central Penn, they are free to work out on their own on the days a practice session is not scheduled.

A few additional reminders about these optional pre-season practices.

1. No registration (other than a pool membership) is necessary and no attendance will be taken. Swimmers choose to attend because they want to attend.

Bishop McDevitt Swimming dryland begins on Friday, December 8

Please arrive ready to go with sneakers, t-shirt, shorts or sweats. No school uniforms.

Wednesdays: 3:30-4:05 in TRX room at Central Penn
Wednesday sessions will be strength based and are recommended for swimmers with or who expect to achieve district or state times.

Fridays: 3:45-4:05 in the pool solarium at Central Penn
All levels are welcome. The primary focus for Friday sessions will be core strength, stability and flexibility.
