A pre-season information meeting will be held on Wednesday, October 1 at 6:30 p.m. in the high school cafeteria. All returning and potential new parents to the program should plan to attend this meeting. Students are also welcome to attend but the information discussed will primarily be addressed to parents.
The following topics will be covered:
1. Collect contact information for new and returning members.
Members of the Swimming & Diving program (athletes and parents) have the opportunity to sell baked goods at this season's third home football game vs Cumberland Valley on Friday, October 3. We will need lots of baked goods and plenty of help from our parents and swimmers to make this fundraiser a success. Incoming freshmen are always welcome to help!
Please sign-up to volunteer and/or donate baked goods using this link
Members of the Bishop McDevitt Swimming & Diving team will attend the Field of Screams on Sunday, October 12. There is no school on Monday, October 13 so this was identified as an ideal date for all members to attend.
Students, parents, siblings, and friends are welcome to attend with a "group scream pass". At least 25 people are required for the group rate of $40 per person. The “group scream pass” admits each individual to all attractions.
Samples of the team's official Under Armour warm-up jacket and pants (small, medium, large) will be available to try on at 2:45 on Wednesday, October 15 in the school's cafeteria.
Please be prepared to try on items and hand in an order or simply drop off your completed order form and payment if you already know your sizes. This date is not the final collection date but it will be the only opportunity to try on sample jackets and pants.

The team will receive a portion of the profits generated from sales during the game. Members of the Swimming & Diving will need to provide volunteers to prepare and serve food and drinks. A volunteer list broken down by shifts is provided below.
Stadium gates open at 5:30. We will need several volunteers during "shift #1" to arrive at 5:00 to begin set-up and food preparation.
