Winter Sports Physicals - Tuesday October 28, from 9:00 - 10:30 a.m. at the High School

Bishop McDevitt will host winter sports physicals on Tuesday October 28, from 9:00 - 10:30 a.m. in the athletic wing of the high school.

Please read the following:

* For CURRENT fall sports athletes, only Section 7 (recertification) of the physical form needs to be completed. The form must be signed by a parent or guardian and returned to the school's athletic training staff before the team's first official practice.

* For all students that are NOT currently participating in a fall sport and have not turned in a PIAA Sports Physical, please read the information below and have a medical professional complete the PIAA Sports Physical Evaluation form

If the athlete/parents would like to have a sports physical done at the high school for $15, then please click on the link and sign up for a time slot. (Please come to your selected time slot with your physical packet filled out).

If the athlete/parents would prefer to schedule an appointment with a family doctor, or an alternative medical group, this is certainly permitted. Please have the preferred medical professional complete the sports physical using the certified PIAA packet and return it to the Bishop McDevitt athletic training staff before November 17 before 2:45 p.m..

Bishop McDevitt is also offering Free Heart EKG Screens. These are optional - If interested, please sign up for an EKG spot using the same link above (same as physicals). Please make sure
this Parent Consent form is also returned at the time of your physical.

Just to clarify:
Athletes will not be able to participate without an approved PIAA Sports Physical. NO exceptions. State physicals and wellness visits are NOT accepted, ONLY a PIAA Sports Physical Packet qualifies for high school sports.

Due date for all Physicals and Medical clearances for Winter sports is November 17, so sign up for the October 28 option at the school or schedule an appointment with your preferred provider today!
